There is a new, worldwide enemy
that you can’t taste, feel, smell or see.
It overwhelmed the world overnight
and men still haven’t any idea how to fight,
how to resist it, how to defeat it indeed.
An effective weapon against it is all that men need.
But this seems to be an impossible task
as this opponent can’t be switched off by just wearing a mask.
It takes a lot of prudence, sense, and discipline,
and hopefully soon the invention of a durable and effective vaccine.
But this won’t be enough to really defeat this enemy
as constantly new mutations will help it to flee.
Therefore one thing is the order of the day:
to be considerate and most of the time stay
at home to protect others and to protect yourself, that’s what you should do.
That’s the best way to show: I love my life and to say: I love yours, too.
